Automechanika Dubai takes place from 10 to 12 November 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, the first time the region's largest automotive aftermarket show has been held at the venue after more than two decades at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The event is organised by Messe Frankfurt Middle East and is part of the global Automechanika brand that runs sister shows in Frankfurt, Shanghai, Johannesburg and other markets. It covers the full aftermarket supply chain: parts and components, accessories and customising, repair and maintenance equipment, diagnostics, tyres and batteries, car wash and care, and the workshop and dealer services that keep vehicle fleets on the road.
Dubai's role as the re-export hub for automotive parts across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia is the reason the show carries weight well beyond the UAE. Distributors and importers from across those regions use the three days to source from manufacturers in Europe, Asia and the Americas, and the show has long served as the annual price and product benchmark for the trade.
For executives the move to Expo City is itself a signal. Dubai World Trade Centre, which operates both venues, has been shifting several of its largest shows to the newer site as it expands capacity, and Automechanika's relocation follows the earlier decision to move GITEX Global there. Companies planning stands or delegations should note the change of location and the different logistics that come with it.
Beyond the exhibition floor, the programme typically includes training sessions and industry talks on electrification of fleets, the growth of independent workshop networks, counterfeit parts and the regulatory push on vehicle safety across Gulf markets. Those themes matter to executives at distributors, fleet operators, insurers and the manufacturers whose warranty and service businesses depend on a healthy aftermarket.
Automechanika Dubai remains the single most important commercial gathering for the automotive aftermarket in the Middle East and Africa, and the 2026 edition is expected to draw the region's leading distributors and workshop chains alongside international suppliers.
