The Handelsblatt Energie-Gipfel 2027 will be held in Berlin from 26 to 28 January 2027. Days one and two take place at the bcc Berlin Congress Center on Alexanderplatz, and day three moves to Design Offices Berlin Humboldthafen for a dedicated forum on critical infrastructure and energy security. The summit is organised by the Handelsblatt Media Group and runs under the title "Neue Weltordnung der Energie, Global denken, sicher versorgen", which translates as the new world order of energy, think globally, supply securely.

The organiser expects around 1,000 participants. The programme covers new energy partnerships, the build out of renewables, system stability and regulation. Confirmed speakers include Federal Economics Minister Katherina Reiche, Markus Krebber of RWE, Michael Lewis of Uniper and Henrik Andersen of Vestas. Tickets start at 950 euros plus value added tax.

The event matters to executives because it is the start of year summit at which the German energy industry, its regulators and its largest customers set out their positions on grids, gas supply, power prices and the pace of the transition. Chief executives of utilities, grid operators, energy traders and the industrial groups that depend on affordable power attend.

The bcc Berlin Congress Center stands on Alexanderplatz in the centre of Berlin.
