South Sudan Oil and Power, the country's official energy conference, returns to Juba from 24 to 25 November for its seventh edition. The year is 2026.
The event is held in partnership with South Sudan's Ministry of Petroleum and is the country's principal platform for presenting upstream licensing opportunities, infrastructure projects and midstream development to international investors. Programming covers exploration and production, pipeline capacity and the financing structures available to operators working in the country.
South Sudan remains one of the least explored producing basins in East Africa, and the conference is the main occasion on which the ministry, the national oil company and operating partners set out policy and project pipelines in one place. The organiser is Energy Capital and Power, which runs a series of national energy investment platforms across Africa and the Americas.
The venue had not been published by the organiser at the time of writing.
