NRF 2027, billed as Retail's Big Show, runs at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York over three days, opening on the tenth of January and closing on the twelfth, in the year twenty twenty seven. It is organised by the National Retail Federation.

The event is the retail industry's principal annual conference and exhibition, and it functions as the sector's calendar marker: it falls immediately after the holiday trading period, so it is the first occasion each year on which retail chief executives, chief operating officers and chief information officers discuss results that are known rather than forecast.

The exhibition floor is weighted towards retail technology, with store systems, supply chain software, payments, loss prevention and increasingly artificial intelligence applications making up most of the stands. That composition reflects where retail capital expenditure has moved over the past decade, away from store fit-out and towards the systems that run inventory, fulfilment and pricing.

Attendance is senior and international, and the conference programme is built around named retail executives rather than vendor presentations, which is what distinguishes it from the trade shows that surround it. Details and registration are published by the organiser.
