Iberflora, the international fair for plants and flowers, landscaping, technology and garden retail, holds its 55th edition from 6 to 8 October 2026 at Feria Valencia.

The fair occupies pavilions 7 and 8 at the venue and is positioned by the organiser as the reference professional event for Europe's green sector. The previous edition covered around 30,000 square metres with more than 350 exhibiting brands.

Coverage spans live plant and cut flower production, nursery stock, substrates and growing media, landscaping, garden machinery and the garden centre retail channel. It is a trade-only event with a buyer base weighted toward the Mediterranean and Latin America.

Iberflora is co-located with Eurobrico, the professional fair for the do-it-yourself, hardware and home improvement channel, which runs on the same dates at the same venue. The pairing is deliberate: garden centres and DIY chains buy from both halls, and the joint scheduling lets those buyers cover the full range in one trip.

The Spanish ornamental horticulture industry is a significant European producer, with the Valencia region, Andalusia and Catalonia accounting for much of the output, and a substantial share of production exported into northern European markets. That export orientation is what gives the fair its international buyer attendance.

The commercial pressures on the sector are familiar ones: water availability and irrigation efficiency in a region exposed to drought, energy costs in heated production, plant health and phytosanitary controls on cross-border movement, and the cost of labour in a crop that remains hard to mechanise. Those constraints have pushed exhibitor content steadily toward growing technology and automation alongside the plants themselves.

For retail buyers the October timing matters because it falls at the point in the year when garden centre ranges for the following spring are specified, which is the commercial purpose the fair serves.
