Alamar Foods Company has reappointed Ibrahim Abdulaziz AlJammaz as Chairman and Asim Saud Ibrahim AlJammaz as Vice Chairman of the board of directors, continuing their leadership of the Saudi quick service restaurant operator. The reappointments reflect the sustained governance structure at the publicly listed company, which operates the Domino's and Dunkin' franchises across the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan region.

The appointments represent continuity within the AlJammaz family enterprise, which has controlled Alamar since its founding. Ibrahim AlJammaz previously held the chief executive role at Alamar before transitioning to chairman, where his non-executive position allows him to provide strategic direction while operational leadership rests elsewhere. Asim AlJammaz, serving as non-executive vice chairman, operates multiple technology and investment businesses within the broader family group. No search firm involvement has been disclosed in the appointment process, suggesting an internal succession within the family-controlled structure.

Ibrahim Abdulaziz AlJammaz holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from King Saud University, graduating in 1999. He has spent his career building the AlJammaz Group's food and agriculture operations, holding multiple board positions across the family's portfolio companies including Saudi Allied Company for Chocolate and Gifts (Patchi), Derayah Financial Company, and Cedrus Invest Bank in Lebanon. Asim Saud AlJammaz holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from King Saud University, earned in 1998, and currently serves as chief executive officer of VAD Technologies and AlJammaz Technologies. Both executives operate within the broader AlJammaz Group, established in Riyadh and comprising over 17 businesses with more than 650 branches across the Middle East.

Alamar Foods Company is a Saudi Arabia-based quick service restaurant operator controlling approximately 393 Domino's locations and 47 Dunkin' restaurants across the MENAP region. The company was listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange in August 2022. The AlJammaz Group owns 57.1 percent of Alamar, valuing the company at USD 462 million as of August 2022. The franchise operations generate revenues of approximately USD 31.8 million annually and employ over 745 people across five continents, with a total workforce across AlJammaz entities exceeding 4,000.

The reappointments underscore the entrenchment of family control at Alamar during a period of regional expansion in the QSR sector. The dual reappointment to these top positions, rather than a competitive search process, suggests the company's board values continuity and the institutional knowledge the AlJammaz family brings to franchise management in emerging markets. For investors in the Saudi stock market, the appointments provide clarity on governance stability but raise questions about succession planning depth beyond the immediate family, particularly as Alamar navigates growth across multiple countries and regulatory environments in one of the world's fastest-growing quick service restaurant markets.
