Ammar Al Khudairy

Ammar A. Alkhudairy has extensive experience in the finance industry with over 30 years in prominent roles across M&A, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, Corporate Banking and Project Finance. Born in 1963, Al Khudairy spent his career building expertise across Saudi Arabia's financial sector. Al-Khudairy obtained a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in engineering administration at George Washington University in the US.

Saudi National Bank Chairman Ammar al-Khudairy resigned his post in March 2023, days after his comments exacerbated the share collapse of troubled bank Credit Suisse. Al-Khudairy stepped down due to personal reasons. He founded and chairs Amwal AlKhaleej and Amwal Capital Partners, an alternative assets' management business based in Riyadh and in DIFC.
