World Health Expo Dubai, the healthcare exhibition and congress formerly known as Arab Health, runs from 25 to 28 January 2027 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai. It is organised by Informa Markets and is the largest healthcare trade event in the Middle East.
The event brings together medical device and equipment manufacturers, pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies, hospital operators, healthcare investors, digital health providers and government health authorities from across the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and beyond. Its exhibition halls are organised by product sector, from imaging and surgical equipment to laboratory, disposables, infrastructure and healthcare IT, and a parallel congress programme runs accredited medical conferences across a range of specialties.
For executives the show is significant because of the scale of healthcare investment under way in the region. Saudi Arabia, the UAE and their neighbours are building hospital capacity, privatising services, expanding insurance coverage and pursuing medical tourism, and the operators, investors and suppliers competing for that growth converge on Dubai each January. Hospital groups announce expansions and partnerships, distributors sign agency agreements with international manufacturers, and health ministries use the week to present policy and procurement priorities.
The rebranding from Arab Health to World Health Expo reflects Informa's strategy of positioning the Dubai show as the flagship of a global healthcare portfolio that also includes events in Africa, Asia and the Americas. The move to the Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City, in line with several of Dubai's largest shows, gives the event more floor space and a venue configured for the combined exhibition and congress format.
Beyond the exhibition, the leadership and investment tracks are where chief executives of hospital groups, private equity and sovereign investors in healthcare, and the heads of regional operations at multinational medical technology and pharmaceutical companies meet. Themes in recent editions have included artificial intelligence in diagnostics, value-based care, workforce shortages and the consolidation of private hospital ownership across the Gulf.
For senior leaders in healthcare delivery, life sciences, medical technology, insurance and healthcare investment, World Health Expo Dubai remains the single most important week of the regional calendar. Registration, the congress programme and exhibitor listings are available on the official event site.
