The Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit holds its eleventh edition at the Mahatma Mandir Convention and Exhibition Centre in Gandhinagar from 10 to 12 January 2027. Organised by the Government of Gujarat, the summit is India's largest state level investment event and is customarily inaugurated by the Prime Minister on its opening day.

Vibrant Gujarat has been running since 2003 and has become the template for the investment summits that other Indian states now hold. It brings together heads of state and government, ministers, chief executives of Indian and multinational companies, and institutional investors for plenary sessions, country and sector seminars and the signing of memoranda of understanding with the state government.

The 2027 edition is expected to emphasise the sectors in which Gujarat has attracted the most recent investment: semiconductors, where several fabrication and assembly plants are under construction; renewable energy and green hydrogen; automobiles and electric vehicles; petrochemicals; and financial services, through the GIFT City international financial centre at Gandhinagar. Readers should note that the official site shows both 9 and 10 January as the opening date in different places; the inaugural ceremony is listed for 10 January.

For executives, the summit is the highest profile venue for announcing Indian investment commitments and for meeting the Gujarat and central government officials who administer incentives. Boards of manufacturing, energy and financial services companies with Indian expansion plans, and the Gulf sovereign and corporate investors that have been prominent at recent editions, will treat it as a fixed point in the first quarter calendar.
