TFWA World Exhibition and Conference 2026 will be held at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès, Cannes, from 27 September to 1 October. The annual event is organised by the Tax Free World Association (TFWA), which has convened the duty free and travel retail industry in Cannes for more than 30 years. The organiser's programme opens with a conference on Sunday 27 September, followed by four exhibition days; the venue's own agenda lists the exhibition days as 28 September to 1 October.
The event is the global summit of the duty free and travel retail business, bringing together brand owners across luxury and consumer goods, airport and border retailers, and transport operators. Alongside the exhibition floor, the programme includes a Start Up Day and the ONE2ONE meeting programme.
For executives, Cannes is where the travel retail year's commercial conversations are concentrated. Chief executives and commercial directors of brand houses meet the buying teams of airport and border retailers, while transport operators weigh the shape of their retail offer. Attendance from the leadership of major luxury and consumer groups makes the week a barometer for the sector's outlook, and the ONE2ONE programme gives suppliers and buyers a structured setting in which to open negotiations.
The Palais des Festivals et des Congrès carries a year-round agenda of professional events, and TFWA is the first of several business fixtures at the venue this autumn, with MAPIC following in November.
