The second Jordan FinTech Festival takes place on 23 and 24 September 2026 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre on the Dead Sea, hosted by the Central Bank of Jordan in cooperation with the Association of Banks in Jordan and with the support of the German development agency GIZ.
The festival brings together Jordan's banks, payment companies and fintech startups with regulators, international financial institutions, technology providers, investors and counterparts from across the Arab region. It follows the inaugural edition, which the central bank launched as a platform for its financial technology and innovation strategy, and it is structured around conference sessions, a startup and innovation showcase, workshops and networking between the regulator, the industry and the venture community.
The event matters to executives because the Central Bank of Jordan has taken an active role in shaping the country's digital financial infrastructure. Its work on instant payments, open finance, a regulatory sandbox for fintech companies, digital identity and the licensing of payment and electronic money institutions has positioned Jordan as one of the more developed fintech regulatory environments in the Levant, and the festival is where the regulator sets out the next stage of that agenda and gathers feedback from the market.
The 2026 programme is expected to cover open banking and open finance, digital payments and financial inclusion, artificial intelligence and data in financial services, cybersecurity and fraud, the financing of small and medium enterprises, and the regional integration of payment systems across the Arab world. Speakers include the leadership of the central bank and Jordanian banks, regional regulators, the heads of payment networks and fintech companies, and representatives of the development institutions supporting the sector.
For chief executives, chief digital officers and heads of innovation at banks, payment companies and fintech firms with an interest in Jordan and the wider Levant, and for investors and technology vendors active in regional financial services, the Jordan FinTech Festival is the principal regulator-led gathering of the sector in the country. Its Dead Sea venue is also the setting for many of Jordan's largest economic and investment conferences.
Details of participation are published by the Central Bank of Jordan and the festival organisers.
