Project Lebanon 2026, the twenty-seventh edition of the country's international construction, infrastructure and energy exhibition, takes place from 29 September to 2 October 2026 at the Seaside Arena on the Beirut New Waterfront. It is organised by IFP Group and is held under the patronage of the Lebanese prime minister, Nawaf Salam.
The exhibition brings together building materials manufacturers and suppliers, construction machinery and equipment providers, contractors and engineering consultancies, renewable energy and power solutions companies, and the developers, municipalities and public bodies commissioning work across Lebanon. It runs concurrently with an interiors showcase and a telecommunications and technology strand, and a business matchmaking programme connects exhibitors with buyers and delegations from Lebanon, the Levant, the Gulf and Africa.
Project Lebanon matters to executives because the country is entering a reconstruction and recovery phase after years of economic crisis and conflict. The rebuilding of damaged housing and infrastructure, the rehabilitation of the electricity grid and the shift towards solar and distributed generation, the redevelopment of the Beirut port area and the eventual resumption of large public works all depend on an inflow of capital, materials and contracting capacity, and the exhibition is the point at which suppliers, contractors and financiers assess the pipeline and position themselves for it.
The event also serves as a regional marketplace, since Lebanese contractors, engineers and architects work extensively across the Gulf and Africa and use the show to source suppliers and partners for projects outside the country. That outward-facing role has kept Project Lebanon running through the country's most difficult years.
The programme includes conference sessions and seminars on reconstruction financing, the role of international donors and development banks, renewable energy and grid rehabilitation, building standards and resilience, and the regulatory and procurement reforms needed to attract investment. Government officials, developers, contractors, banks and international organisations take part.
For chief executives and business development leaders at building materials, construction, engineering and energy companies with an interest in Lebanon and the Levant, and for the investors and development institutions engaged in the country's recovery, Project Lebanon is the principal annual gathering of the sector.
