it-sa Expo and Congress 2026 will be held at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 27 to 29 October, with the Congress programme starting a day earlier on Monday 26 October. The annual IT security trade fair is organised by NuernbergMesse and describes itself as the largest of its kind in Europe.
The 2025 edition set records with 993 exhibitors across five halls and 28,267 trade visitors from 64 countries, according to the organiser. The fair covers network and cloud security, identity and access management, data protection, industrial and operational technology security, and managed security services, and includes the ATHENE Startup Award UP26 for early stage security companies.
The event matters to executives because cyber risk is now a board level responsibility under European regulation, including the NIS2 directive and the Digital Operational Resilience Act for financial firms, and it-sa is where chief information security officers, chief information officers and risk committees assess suppliers and standards. Chief executives of the leading European security vendors and the technology heads of banks, insurers, utilities and manufacturers attend.
NuernbergMesse operates the exhibition centre in the south of Nuremberg.
