GOTECH 2026, the Gas and Oil Technology Showcase and Conference, takes place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 29 September to 1 October 2026. The event is organised by dmg events and brings together operators, service companies and technology providers working across the upstream oil and gas value chain in the Middle East and beyond.
The 2026 edition has moved to an autumn slot. Earlier published material for the show still carried an April date, but the organiser now lists the event for 29 September to 1 October at the same Dubai venue, and executives planning attendance should work from the September dates.
GOTECH combines a technical conference with an exhibition floor. Its programme is built around the engineering and digital disciplines that determine how efficiently reserves are found, developed and produced, including drilling and completions, reservoir management, production optimisation, digitalisation and emissions reduction. National oil companies and international service groups use the platform to present technical papers and to meet suppliers.
For executives, the value of the event sits in its concentration of technical decision makers from the regional producers at a time when Gulf national oil companies are expanding gas capacity and pressing contractors on cost and carbon intensity. Boards of oilfield service and technology companies will read the conference agenda as a signal of where regional operators intend to spend, and the exhibition as a test of how their own offer compares with competitors targeting the same customers.
