CABSAT 2026, the region's established exhibition for broadcast, content production, media technology and satellite communications, runs from 5 to 7 October 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, occupying Halls S17 and S19. The event is organised by Dubai World Trade Centre.
The 2026 edition marks a change of both season and venue. CABSAT has historically been held in May at the Dubai World Trade Centre complex on Sheikh Zayed Road. This year it shifts to October and to the exhibition halls at Expo City, the district that DWTC now operates alongside its original site. The official event page carries the October dates consistently across its visitor information, partner hotel windows and travel offers.
CABSAT serves broadcasters, streaming platforms, production houses, systems integrators and the satellite operators that carry their signals. Alongside the exhibition it hosts a content congress and a satellite conference, giving the event a mix of commercial and technical programming that attracts chief executives of regional media groups as well as chief technology officers and heads of engineering.
For boards and senior leaders in media, telecoms and satellite services, the event offers a compact reading of where the regional industry is investing, from cloud production and artificial intelligence in newsrooms to direct to device satellite connectivity. The move to Expo City is also a marker of how Dubai is redistributing its exhibition calendar across two venues, which matters to any executive planning sponsorship or exhibition budgets in the emirate.
