GEIDEA has appointed Abdulrahman Almutairi as its new Group Chief Technology Officer where he will lead the tech initiatives including enhancing the technology landscape amid its ongoing digital transformation.
Almutairi brings over 20 years of experience across technology and financial services. He previously served as CTO for STC Pay, the mobile financial services arm of Saudi Telecom Company for nearly 5 years.
Before this he was Deputy Chief Information Officer at Banque Saudi Fransi having previously spent over 9.5 years at SABB (now SAB) latterly as Head of Information Technology Operations. Geidea had earlier this year added Mr. Abdulmalik AlSheikh, Mr. Ziyad AlEisa to their Board and Mr. Omar Yassine as Senior Advisor to the Executive Chairperson and Board.
