The Gipfeltreffen der Weltmarktfuehrer 2027 will be held at Bausparkasse Schwaebisch Hall from Wednesday 17 February at 09:00 to Thursday 18 February at 16:00, with a chief executive pre-evening at the Neues Globe theatre and a highlight session at the Carmen Wuerth Forum in Kuenzelsau. The summit of world market leaders is organised by WirtschaftsWoche, the business weekly of the Handelsblatt Media Group.
The organiser expects more than 600 participants and more than 20 speakers, and the format is built around networking among the owners and chief executives of hidden champions, the mid sized German companies that lead their global niche markets. Hosts include Robert Friedmann of the Wuerth Group and Mike Kammann of Bausparkasse Schwaebisch Hall. Tickets start at 1,500 euros plus value added tax.
The event matters to executives because it is the largest gathering of the German Mittelstand's global market leaders and is often described as the Davos of the Mittelstand. Family owners, chief executives and supervisory board members of export focused manufacturers attend, together with the banks, advisers and private equity investors that serve them.
Schwaebisch Hall is a town in the north east of Baden-Wuerttemberg.
