BIOFACH 2027 will be held at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 16 to 19 February 2027. The world's leading trade fair for organic food is organised by NuernbergMesse and is open to trade visitors only. The 2026 edition expected around 35,000 trade visitors and more than 2,200 exhibitors, according to the organiser.
The fair covers fresh and packaged organic food, beverages, natural cosmetics at the parallel VIVANESS show, and the certification, retail and logistics services around them. The BIOFACH Congress covers market and consumer trends, retail strategy and organic farming, with a SustainableFutureLab think tank.
The event matters to executives because organic and sustainability labelled food is a strategic category for grocery retailers and consumer goods groups, and BIOFACH is the fixed date at which producers, brand owners and retail buyers set their listings and pricing for the year. Chief executives of organic food companies, category directors at supermarket chains and the heads of certification bodies and industry associations attend.
NuernbergMesse operates the exhibition centre in the south of Nuremberg.
