InnoTrans 2026 will be held at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 22 to 25 September. The 15th edition of the international trade fair for transport technology is organised by Messe Berlin every two years, and the 2026 show marks the event's 30th anniversary. It is open to trade visitors only.

The fair occupies all 42 halls of the Berlin grounds plus 3,500 metres of outdoor track on which rolling stock is displayed. Its segments cover railway technology, railway infrastructure, public transport, interiors and tunnel construction. The 2024 edition drew 2,946 exhibitors from 59 countries and 169,214 visitors from 128 countries, according to the organiser.

The event matters to executives because it is where rail manufacturers, infrastructure managers, transport operators and their financiers meet in one place, and because it is the customary venue for fleet orders and framework agreements to be signed. Chief executives and procurement heads from national railways, urban transit authorities and rolling stock suppliers attend, together with the investors and lenders behind rail infrastructure programmes in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Messe Berlin runs the fair at its exhibition grounds beneath the Funkturm in the west of the city.
