The Market 2.0 Bahrain 2026 will be held in Manama on 3 December. The one day conference is hosted by Bahrain Bourse with the Arab Federation of Capital Markets and this is its second edition. A two day technical workshop for chief technology officers runs beforehand on 1 and 2 December at the Bahrain Bourse business centre. The official microsite names two different hotels for the main day in different sections, so the venue should be confirmed with the organiser.
The conference is a specialist technology focused capital markets event aimed at exchange chief executives, central securities depositories, brokers and market infrastructure technologists rather than a general finance audience. The 2026 agenda covers the migration of trading systems, the use of artificial intelligence in trading and market surveillance and the monetisation of market data. The organiser reports that the 2025 edition drew more than 500 participants.
The event matters to executives because Arab exchanges are modernising their trading, clearing and data platforms at the same time, and because the technology decisions taken by exchanges shape the costs and products available to banks, brokers and issuers across the region. Technology vendors, exchange leaders and regulators attend from across the Arab Federation of Capital Markets membership.
Registration and the agenda are published on the official event microsite.
