Project Oman 2026, the fifth edition of the Sultanate's construction technology and building materials exhibition, takes place from 2 to 4 November 2026 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre in Muscat. It is organised by Omanexpo and brings together the contractors, developers, consultants, suppliers and government bodies that make up Oman's construction and infrastructure sector.
The exhibition covers building materials and systems, construction machinery and equipment, interior finishes and fit-out, mechanical, electrical and plumbing products, and the digital construction, sustainability and safety technologies being adopted on Omani projects. Exhibitors combine Omani manufacturers and distributors with international suppliers from the Gulf, Asia and Europe, and the visitor base is drawn from contractors, developers, engineering consultancies, facilities managers and the ministries and state entities that commission public works.
Project Oman is relevant to executives because the Sultanate's construction market is being reshaped by its Vision 2040 development programme. The Sultan Haitham City master development, port and free zone expansion at Duqm, Sohar and Salalah, tourism and hospitality projects on the coast, renewable energy and green hydrogen infrastructure, and a renewed housing and urban development push have all created demand for materials, equipment and contracting capacity, while government policy is encouraging local content and the growth of Omani manufacturers and small and medium enterprises in the supply chain.
