GITEX Global runs from 7 to 11 December 2026 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai, marking the first edition of the technology show at its new home after more than four decades at the Dubai World Trade Centre site.
The event is organised by Dubai World Trade Centre, which announced the relocation in October 2025 under the directives of the Ruler of Dubai. The Dubai Exhibition Centre is undergoing an expansion the organiser values at 2.7 billion dollars, which it says will make the venue the largest purpose-built indoor events and exhibition space in the region.
The 2026 programme splits into two parts. The GITEX Summit occupies a single day on 7 December and is aimed at senior delegates, heads of delegation and chief executives, with artificial intelligence sovereignty and scalability as its organising theme. The GITEX Global exhibition then runs across four days from 8 to 11 December.
Programme strands for the 2026 edition include GITEX New Energy, GITEX Move covering mobility, GITEX Quantum Expo, a data centre track, a physical artificial intelligence and robotics park, and the financial and consumer technology strands. The startup event Expand North Star runs as a sister show.
The executive draw is the speaker roster. Names published by the organiser for 2026 include the chief executives and senior leaders of OpenAI, G42, Tenstorrent, Cerebras, Cohesity, IBM, Vertiv and Amazon Web Services in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, alongside ministers from the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Estonia, Turkiye, Slovenia, Poland, Pakistan and Lebanon, and senior figures from the United Nations technology envoy office.
For an executive audience the venue change matters more than it might appear. The previous edition spread across two sites and more than 40 halls, a footprint that had become a logistical constraint on the kind of scheduled, high-density meeting programme that senior delegations actually come for. Consolidating into a single expanded campus is a bet that the show can keep growing exhibitor numbers without further fragmenting the attendee experience.
Prospective attendees should note that widely circulated attendance and exhibitor figures for the show, including counts above 200,000 visitors and several thousand exhibiting companies, originate in trade press rather than in published organiser data for this edition. The dates and the venue are confirmed on the official event site; the scale numbers are best treated as indicative until the organiser publishes audited figures.
