Myrias Optics, an Amherst, Massachusetts based manufacturer of wafer-level metaoptics and diffractive optical technologies, named Neil Anderson, Ph.D., Chief Revenue Officer effective immediately on July 22, 2026. In the role, Anderson will oversee global commercial strategy, including sales, business development, marketing, strategic partnerships, and commercial operations. Anderson brings more than 15 years of leadership experience across the global optics and photonics industry. He held senior executive positions at Gooch and Housego, the quantum computing startup Infleqtion, and IDEX Corporation, where he led global commercial organizations and developed growth strategies with Fortune 1000 companies. His background spans optical components, photonic subsystems, imaging technologies, integrated photonics, and advanced manufacturing in markets including semiconductor, datacom, aerospace and defense, medical diagnostics, life sciences, industrial sensing, quantum computing, and consumer electronics. Anderson holds a Ph.D. in optical science and engineering from the Institute of Optics at University of Rochester, along with a master's degree in physics. According to the company, he is recognized throughout the photonics industry for bridging scientific innovation with commercial execution.

Myrias Optics was founded in 2021 and remains a private company focused on bringing wafer-level optical components to market. The company specializes in metaoptics and diffractive optics that integrate advanced nanostructures with cost-efficient, high-throughput manufacturing. Its all-inorganic nanoimprinting technology produces precision optical components including metalenses and waveguides with industry-leading material performance and yield characteristics.
