Kore.ai, the enterprise artificial intelligence company, has appointed Uma Sandilya as Chief Commercial Officer and Rajavardhan Nalluri as Chief Customer Operations Officer, the company announced on July 22, 2026. The dual appointment consolidates the firm's commercial and customer functions under dedicated senior leaders as enterprise buyers move agentic AI from pilot projects into full production.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Sandilya takes end-to-end ownership of sales, go-to-market strategy, marketing, and corporate strategy, uniting Kore.ai's commercial functions under a single leader. The company said the consolidation is intended to give enterprise customers a more coordinated path from evaluation to deployment at a time when demand for production-grade AI agents is accelerating.

Sandilya joined Kore.ai in 2025 as Chief Growth Officer and has more than two decades of experience in enterprise AI. Before Kore.ai she held senior roles working with C3.ai and McKinsey, where she advised large organizations on adopting and scaling advanced analytics and AI. Her promotion reflects the company's intent to bring sales, marketing, and strategy into closer alignment as it competes for large enterprise accounts.

Nalluri, appointed Chief Customer Operations Officer, will report directly to the chief executive. He has spent more than eleven years at Kore.ai, where he led engineering through multiple phases of the company's growth and worked directly with customers across industries. In his new role he is responsible for customer operations, with a mandate to strengthen delivery, support, and long-term customer success as the installed base expands.

The appointments come as enterprises increasingly shift from experimenting with generative and agentic AI toward embedding it in day-to-day operations. Kore.ai positions its platform for building and deploying AI agents for customer service, employee support, and process automation, and the company framed the leadership changes as a response to rising production demand rather than early-stage interest.

By separating commercial leadership from customer operations, the company is signaling that it expects both new-business growth and post-sale execution to become more demanding as deployments scale. Placing sales, marketing, and strategy under Sandilya is intended to sharpen the go-to-market focus, while Nalluri's customer operations remit is aimed at ensuring that expanding deployments are delivered and supported consistently.

Both executives step into their roles effective immediately. The company said the new structure will support its next phase of enterprise growth as organizations formalize their adoption of AI agents.

The appointments also reflect a broader pattern across the enterprise AI sector, where vendors are professionalizing their commercial and delivery organizations as agentic systems move beyond experimentation. By naming a single commercial leader and a dedicated customer operations chief on the same day, Kore.ai is aligning the way it sells with the way it supports customers, a structure that becomes more important as contracts grow larger and deployments touch more of a client's operations.
