Mark Relph

Mark Relph leads the worldwide strategy and execution for AWS's partners in Data & AI, with a particular focus on Generative AI. He joined the Qlik AI Council in January 2026, bringing experience at the intersection of cloud services, partner ecosystems, and enterprise adoption. Throughout his career at AWS, Mark has played a pivotal role in launching over 32 services, including Amazon Q and Amazon Bedrock.

Mark holds a BA from McMaster University and spent 16 years at Microsoft in roles spanning developer evangelism, strategic business development, and the developer tools business for Microsoft Canada. In 2009, he moved to Seattle to lead the Ecosystem Partner Management team for Windows, and in 2011 took over the Venture Capital and Startup team for Microsoft, overseeing Microsoft's relationships with VC firms and key strategic startups globally. After leaving Microsoft, he worked with Growlab, a leading startup accelerator in Vancouver, as well as advising startups.

His 20-year technology track record includes executive leadership, technology evangelism, marketing, sales, business development and product management. At Qlik, he advises the council on how organizations can put AI to work with governed, understood, and ready-to-use data. He is a charter member of the C100, an organization dedicated to supporting the success of Canadian startups.
