Joann Wilkie is chief executive officer of GESB, the Government Employees Superannuation Board of Western Australia, a role effective 12 August 2026. She was previously Under Treasurer of the Western Australian Department of Treasury and Finance from 4 August 2025 and chair of the Western Australian Treasury Corporation, and was the first woman to hold the Under Treasurer post in the state.
She was deputy secretary of the Economic Strategy and Productivity Group at NSW Treasury from February 2019 to 2025 and held senior federal roles, including more than a decade at the Commonwealth Treasury. She received the Public Service Medal in the 2026 Australia Day Honours.
