Engineer Nabil Al-Nuaim

With over 33 years of cross-industry experience, Engineer Nabil Al-Nuaim established himself as a pivotal figure in Saudi Aramco's digital transformation journey. A member of the founding team behind Saudi Aramco's technology arm, Aramco Digital, Al-Nuaim was appointed CEO and spearheaded the company's strategic focus on industrial AI and digital innovation across the energy sector.

Prior to his CEO role, he served as the Senior Vice President of Digital & Information Technology at Aramco, where he led the company's digital strategy, IT operations, cybersecurity, and the development of advanced technologies such as AI, big data, cloud computing, and IoT. His leadership extended to building a strong digital talent base, championing innovation, and launching impactful initiatives such as Aramco.ai and Aramco MetaBrain, which are central to Aramco's generative AI journey. He also spearheaded the Global AI Corridor, focused on localizing AI, enabling Saudi startups, and attracting global AI talent and investment.

Education

Nabil holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in electrical engineering from KFUPM and Texas A&M respectively, and obtained an MBA from MIT Sloan Business School.
