Chris Jaques

Chris Jaques is Group Chief Risk Officer at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), responsible for leading the Group's Risk Management, Sustainability, and Legal departments. He was appointed to the role on 5th August 2024. With more than 30 years of experience in the financial services sector, Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to FAB following various leadership roles in risk management, income derivatives trading and multi-asset fund management.

Before joining FAB, Chris was based in London, where he served as the Chief Risk Officer for the UK and Ireland and Global Head of Enterprise Risk Management at Deutsche Bank. At Deutsche Bank, Chris Jaques held responsibility for climate risk management and ESG expertise, and he joined Deutsche Bank in 2013.
