Industrial Transformation Asia Pacific, usually shortened to ITAP, is a manufacturing technology exhibition and conference held in Singapore. The event is jointly owned by Deutsche Messe and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, and is organised by Hannover Fairs Asia Pacific. This edition is a relaunch run under a new partnership between the two owners, and the organisers describe it as a two day format built around a narrower audience of people responsible for strategy, investment and implementation rather than a broad trade crowd.

The event runs from the twenty-first to the twenty-second of October. The year is 2026. The venue is Suntec Singapore. The organisers are offering two routes in, free registration for exhibition access and a separate conference delegate pass.

Programme content is grouped into five areas named by the organisers: industrial AI and automation, smart manufacturing and digitalisation, advanced production and materials, sustainability and energy, and implementation strategies and industry case studies. The exhibition side is described in similar terms. Automation and AI coverage takes in robotics, controls, machine vision, sensors and AI enabled industrial applications. Digital manufacturing covers industrial software, the industrial internet of things, digital twins, IT and OT integration, and cybersecurity. The sustainability and energy strand covers energy management, process efficiency and decarbonisation. Advanced production and materials covers additive manufacturing, components, materials, inspection and metrology.

The stated audience is split into four groups: strategic industry leaders including C suite executives, plant heads and regional manufacturing leaders; implementation leaders responsible for production, automation, controls and systems integration; technology decision makers working in IT and OT, AI, data, research and digital transformation; and buyers and industry stakeholders including procurement and technology buyers, government agencies and industrial investors.

For senior executives in Southeast Asian manufacturing, the relevance is partly in the positioning. The organisers have framed this edition around moving past pilot projects into commercial deployment, which is the stage at which capital commitments and operating model changes land on a board agenda rather than an engineering one. It also functions as a staging post. The owners have said the show expands to a three day format at Marina Bay Sands the following year, so the smaller edition is where early exhibitor and partner positions get taken. Singapore remains the regional base for a large share of advanced manufacturing investment decisions covering the wider region, and a compact event aimed squarely at decision makers is an efficient way to read where automation and industrial AI spending is heading across the market.
