Spring Fair will return to the NEC Birmingham, running from the seventh to the tenth of February. The year is 2027. The show is organised by Hyve Group.

Spring Fair is the United Kingdom's leading retail trade show and the principal domestic sourcing event for the home, gift and lifestyle categories. Entry is free for retail buyers and industry professionals.

Why the date in the calendar matters

The show sits at the start of the retail buying year, which is what gives it its commercial weight. Buyers arrive with budgets set for the coming seasons and suppliers arrive with ranges they need placed before the year's order books close. For independent retailers in particular it remains one of the few occasions where a season's buying can be done across hundreds of suppliers in a few days rather than through separate appointments spread over months.

That concentration is also why the event is a reliable barometer. The breadth of the exhibitor list, and the willingness of buyers to commit early, tends to read ahead of published retail figures on how the sector expects consumer demand to behave.

The NEC Birmingham is the United Kingdom's largest exhibition centre and sits beside Birmingham Airport and Birmingham International station, which is a substantial part of why the show has remained there: a national trade audience can reach it and return home within a day.

Hyve Group runs a portfolio of international trade exhibitions and also organises Bett, the education technology show held in London earlier in the same season.
