Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC, the regional manufacturing and industry technology show jointly owned by Deutsche Messe and the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, takes place at Suntec Singapore on the twenty first and twenty second of October. The year is 2026.
The event is positioned as a relaunch edition, returning after a reshaped programme and a change of venue. It is the Asia Pacific extension of the Hannover Messe franchise, and it covers the same ground that the German parent show has made its own: industrial automation, digital manufacturing, additive production, robotics, energy management and the supply chain software that connects them.
Why the timing matters
Singapore has spent several years positioning itself as the regional control tower for advanced manufacturing rather than as a volume production base, a strategy that depends on attracting the engineering, supply chain and operations leadership of multinationals rather than their factory floors. A show of this kind is one of the few places where that audience assembles in person, which is why the Singapore Manufacturing Federation sits on the ownership side rather than merely exhibiting.
For executives, the practical draw is less the exhibition floor than the conference programme and the supplier conversations around it. Manufacturing technology purchasing in the region has been unusually cautious, with capital committed slowly against uncertain demand, and events like this are where that caution either breaks or is confirmed.
Venue and access
Suntec Singapore sits in the Marina Centre district, within walking distance of Promenade and Esplanade stations and a short ride from the central business district. It is a conventional choice for a show of this size and a straightforward one for visitors flying in, which matters for a two day format where most international attendees arrive and leave inside seventy two hours.
The organisers have separately indicated that a subsequent edition is planned for Marina Bay Sands in the middle of the following year, which would mark a second venue change in consecutive cycles. Prospective exhibitors planning more than one cycle ahead should confirm that directly with the organiser, since the two listings currently sit alongside each other.
