World Future Energy Summit 2027 will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, from 12 to 14 January 2027. The event is organised by RX and hosted by Masdar as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, which runs from 10 to 14 January 2027.
The summit combines an exhibition, a conference and a buyer programme across clean energy, water, artificial intelligence in energy, hydrogen, nuclear, carbon capture, utilisation and storage, green finance and e-mobility. According to the organiser, the 2026 edition drew more than 51,000 attendees from 124 countries and more than 500 exhibitors, and the organiser cites USD 10bn of active buyer projects connected to the programme.
For executives, the summit brings utilities, project developers, investors and energy ministers together at the start of the year. Chief executives of utilities and developers use it to announce projects and partnerships, investors and lenders use the buyer programme to source pipeline, and ministers use the conference stage to set policy direction for the year ahead. Boards of energy, water and industrial companies with Gulf exposure treat the week as the opening fixture of the regional calendar.
The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2027 dates are already live on the organiser's site, and the venue and dates are unchanged.
