Abu Dhabi Water and Power Week, Special Water Edition 2026, will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, from 8 to 10 December. The inaugural edition is organised by the Department of Energy, Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, and its official name carries the Special Water Edition qualifier.
The week is held in conjunction with the 2026 UN Water Conference, which the UAE and Senegal co-host. It is built around three flagship summits covering policy and regulation, finance and investment, and technology and innovation, together with the fourth Abu Dhabi Water and Power Majlis, an Abu Dhabi Pavilion and a Youth Water Program.
For executives, the week places utility chief executives, water technology leaders and investors in the same rooms as the policymakers and regulators shaping the emirate's water and power framework. The finance and investment summit is where funding models for water and power infrastructure are debated, while the policy and regulation summit signals regulatory direction. Boards of utilities, engineering contractors and technology vendors with Gulf water exposure will want representation during the week.
The event was announced through the Abu Dhabi Media Office, and the dates and venue are unchanged.
