The International Luxury Travel Market takes place at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes from 30 November to 3 December 2026, closing the luxury travel trade's calendar for the year.

ILTM is invitation only and runs on a pre scheduled appointment model rather than as an open exhibition. Luxury hotel groups, private island and lodge operators, cruise lines, destination management companies and tourism boards meet travel advisers and buyers in a structured diary of one to one meetings.

The Cannes edition is the flagship of a portfolio that also runs regional events in Asia, the Middle East, North America and Latin America.

Why it matters

Luxury travel has been one of the more resilient discretionary categories through a period of broader consumer caution, and the contracting that happens at Cannes sets rates and allocations for the following year. For hotel groups the week determines how much of their inventory moves through the adviser channel rather than direct or through online intermediaries, which has direct consequences for achieved rate.

The appointment format is the reason the event matters commercially rather than reputationally. Attendance is a committed cost against a known number of buyer meetings, which is a different proposition from an exhibition stand, and it filters participation to operators with a genuine distribution strategy.

The event is organised by RX Global and runs across four days.
