EXA, Energy Exchange Australia, runs at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre over three days, opening on the second of March and closing on the fourth, in the year twenty twenty seven. It is organised by Diversified Communications Australia.
The event is the renamed successor to the Australasian Oil and Gas Exhibition, long known as AOG Energy, and the change of name reflects a change of scope. Where the predecessor event was built around offshore oil and gas, EXA is positioned across the energy sector as a whole, including renewables, hydrogen and the resources supply chain that serves both.
Perth is the natural venue for it. Western Australia holds the great majority of the country's offshore gas production and a substantial share of its critical minerals activity, and the engineering, procurement and services firms that support both are headquartered in the city rather than on the eastern seaboard.
The audience is operators, contractors, equipment suppliers and the procurement and project leadership that sits between them. Anyone tracking the event under its former name should note that the previous exhibition domain now redirects to the new one. The organiser publishes the exhibitor list and registration details.
