EMEX, the United Kingdom's energy management and smart buildings exhibition, returns to ExCeL London next month for a two day run.

The show opens on the twenty fifth of November and closes on the twenty sixth. The year is 2026. Doors open at half past nine on both days, closing at half past four and then half past three.

Entry is free and the programme is built around accredited professional development, with conference theatres running alongside the exhibition floor plus workshops, roundtables and training sessions. Schneider Electric is announced as headline sponsor.

The organiser states that the show draws more than 4,500 visitors, describing them as senior energy managers, with over 100 exhibitors and more than 100 speakers. It also states that roughly three quarters of visitors hold purchasing authority and that more than half intend to invest in sustainability solutions within five years.

Those two claims are the commercial case for attending, and they point at where the British market now sits. Energy management has moved from a facilities line item to a board-level cost and disclosure question, driven by volatile wholesale prices and by reporting obligations that increasingly require companies to show their consumption rather than describe their intentions. A hall full of buyers with signing authority reflects that shift.

One practical caution: the organiser's own site currently disagrees with itself on the hall numbers and on how many conference theatres will run, so confirm both with the organiser before travelling.
