The Bharat Renewable Energy Summit and Expo 2026 takes place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi from 2 to 5 November 2026. Convened by India's Ministry of New and Renewable Energy together with the International Solar Alliance, the event merges three flagship gatherings into one: the ninth Assembly of the International Solar Alliance, the fourth International Conference on Green Hydrogen and the ministry's renewable energy investors meet and expo.
The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate the summit, and the International Solar Alliance has invited its 128 member and signatory countries, making it one of the largest intergovernmental energy gatherings of the year. The programme covers solar and wind deployment, energy storage, green hydrogen and ammonia, transmission, manufacturing of modules and electrolysers, and the finance needed to reach India's target of 500 gigawatts of non fossil capacity by 2030.
The expo brings together developers, manufacturers, utilities, lenders and equipment suppliers, and the investors meet format is designed to produce announcements of state level and corporate commitments. Gulf sovereign investors and energy companies have been active participants in Indian renewables and are a natural constituency for the event.
For chief executives and boards in power, renewables, hydrogen, engineering and project finance, the summit is the year's principal Indian policy and deal venue in clean energy. Executives at Gulf utilities and investment funds with Indian portfolios, and at equipment makers competing for Indian manufacturing incentives, will read the ministerial announcements as a guide to the next round of tenders and incentives.
