Automechanika Shanghai 2026 takes place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from 2 to 5 December 2026. The 21st edition of the exhibition is organised by Messe Frankfurt (Shanghai) and is the largest of the Automechanika series worldwide, covering automotive parts and components, electronics and connectivity, accessories and customising, repair and maintenance, and the supply chain and services behind them.
The organiser cites more than 7,600 exhibitors at recent editions, spanning Chinese component manufacturers, international tier one suppliers and the aftermarket distributors and workshop equipment makers that serve the world's largest vehicle market. A CEO summit and a programme of technical conferences run alongside the exhibition, with themes in recent years including new energy vehicle supply chains, intelligent driving components and the internationalisation of Chinese suppliers.
The exhibition has become a principal sourcing venue for international buyers of automotive parts, including distributors and fleet operators from the Middle East, where Chinese vehicles and components have taken a rapidly growing share of the market. It also gives Chinese suppliers a platform to present to global vehicle makers.
For executives in automotive manufacturing, components, distribution and aftermarket services, Automechanika Shanghai is a reading of Chinese supplier capability and pricing across the value chain, and a venue for meeting the leadership of companies that are reshaping the global parts industry. Gulf importers and distributors of Chinese vehicles, and boards of established component groups assessing competitive pressure, will find the exhibition and its summit programme useful. Dates are confirmed on the official Messe Frankfurt event site.
