Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2027

Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2027 will run from 10 to 14 January 2027 in Abu Dhabi, opening the year's regional calendar with one of the largest gatherings on the energy transition and sustainable development.

Hosted by Masdar, the week convenes heads of state, ministers, chief executives and investors around clean energy, climate finance and the economics of decarbonisation. Its programme spans the World Future Energy Summit and the Zayed Sustainability Prize awards, which recognise leadership in sustainability across business, technology and communities.

Why it matters to executives

For boards and C-suite leaders, Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week is where the region sets out its capital and policy direction on energy and climate for the year ahead. The commitments and partnerships announced during the week give executives an early read on where sovereign and institutional money intends to flow across renewables, hydrogen and sustainable infrastructure, which increasingly shapes strategy well beyond the energy sector itself.

Falling in the second week of January, it also functions as an annual reset point for senior leaders, concentrating ministers, utility and sovereign fund heads and global investors in one place before the wider year gets under way.
