Redfin is a residential property brokerage based in Seattle. It has been a subsidiary of Rocket Companies since July 2025, when Rocket acquired it in a deal worth 1.75 billion dollars, and it kept its own brand and its Seattle headquarters after the transaction.
Glenn Kelman was chief executive of Redfin for more than 20 years until he stepped down in January 2026. Rocket chief executive Varun Krishna ran the business directly until Alessio Sanfilippo was appointed chief executive of Redfin on 31 August 2026.
