DIFC-based independent asset manager Al Mal Capital has internally promoted Sanjay Vig to the Chief Executive Officer.
Since joining Al Mal Capital in 2016, Vig has been instrumental in strengthening the firm’s investment platform, broadening its core business lines and advancing its long‑term strategic agenda.
As CEO, he is expected to maintain a focus on client‑centric growth, strong governance and disciplined risk management.
Currently serving as Deputy CEO, Vig has been closely involved in steering the firm’s strategic and operational direction, helping ensure continuity through the leadership transition.
He brings more than 40 years of leadership experience across the Middle East and India, spanning corporate and investment banking, wealth management, capital markets and advisory.
Over his career, he has led, advised on and executed transactions worth more than $30bn, giving him deep market insight and a track record across multiple economic cycles.
Dubai Investments holds an 83.95% stake in Al Mal Capital.
