DEUTSCHE BANK appointed Jamal Al Kishi as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of Origination and Advisory, Middle East and Africa effective 1 April 2024. He will be based in Riyadh and also spend significant time in Dubai to manage the bank’s broader regional footprint.
Kees Hoving will focus on his roles within the corporate bank in MEA and as Chief Country Officer for the UAE. Al Kishi returns to Deutsche bank after spending four years at Gulf International Bank in Bahrain and brings nearly 30 years of banking experience in the Middle East.
He previously served as the CEO for MEA at Deutsche Bank from 2016 to 2020. Before that, he held a variety of senior management positions with Deutsche Bank, including Chief Country Officer of Saudi Arabia.
