Sharad Mathur

Sharad Mathur is managing director and chief executive officer of IndusInd General Insurance, the Indian general insurer formerly known as Reliance General Insurance and now part of the IndusInd International Holdings group. He has around three decades of experience in insurance and financial services.

Mathur joined IndusInd General Insurance from Universal Sompo General Insurance, where he served as managing director and chief executive officer for more than six years and led a transformation of the insurer's distribution, risk management and technology enabled customer servicing.
