Matthew Latino

Matthew Latino was appointed as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of FuelCell Energy effective October 7, 2026, succeeding longtime CFO Michael Bishop. Latino is 41 years old and previously served as senior vice president of finance and segment CFO for Xylem's Measurement & Control Solutions business, a division with approximately $2 billion in revenue.

Latino brings experience as a former Deloitte auditor with a background in industrial technology finance and investor relations leadership. He most recently served at Xylem from November 2025 to June 2026 as senior vice president of finance and segment CFO, and joined Xylem in 2012, holding a series of finance roles including vice president of investor relations. He previously led investor relations at Xylem, giving him experience communicating corporate strategy, financial performance and long-term growth priorities to investors.

Latino earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from State University of New York at Oneonta. He began his career as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. At Xylem, he founded and leads the Finance Leadership Development Program (FLDP), a leadership rotation program for recent college graduates, and was named to Institutional Investor All-America teams in 2019 and 2020, including recognition as part of the top award for 'Most Honored Company' in 2020 in the Electrical Equipment & Multi-Industry sector.
