Ranjit Khanna from Bank of Singapore (BOS) is set to join EFG International in Dubai.

Khanna, who oversaw the Middle East, Global South Asia (GSA), and international markets, and was Chief Executive of the DIFC branch, resigned from BoS after more than three years.

However, industry sources suggest his departure is the precursor to a massive talent migration. Khanna is reportedly expected to lead a cohort of eight to ten Senior Relationship Managers making the jump from BOS to EFG.

Among the names expected to follow is Salman Bajwa, currently Managing Director and Market Head at BOS.

The bank has been on a hiring spree across emerging markets, recently bolstering its Asia operations with the appointment of Ashish Dikshit as Head of Investments and the recruitment of former BOS private banker Leslie Tan.

BOS recently reshuffled its GSA team with the hiring of Bikram Sen as Market Head of GSA and International and Priyanka Maheshwari as a senior private banker.

In March, the private bank also hired Omar Matraji as an investment advisor in Dubai, reporting to Pranay Singhi, managing director and head of investment advisory at Bank of Singapore’s DIFC branch.
