Denimsandjeans Egypt returns for a third edition early in 2027, with a two-day run at the InterContinental Citystars in Cairo on the thirteenth and fourteenth of January. The exhibition brings the denim and textile supply chain together on a single business platform in the Egyptian capital.
Denimsandjeans is a business-to-business denim exhibition series founded in Bangladesh that now runs events across Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, Japan, Egypt and South Korea. The Cairo edition connects manufacturers, suppliers, brands, retailers, sourcing professionals, designers and technology providers working at every stage of denim production, from fibre through to finished garment.
Exhibitor categories span denim fabrics, garments, fibres and yarns, chemicals and dyes, washing and finishing technologies, textile machinery, trims and accessories, sustainable materials, recycling and circular solutions, and digital technologies for textile manufacturing. The visitor profile is weighted toward fashion brands, retailers, buying houses, sourcing offices, manufacturers, importers and exporters, designers, product developers and textile consultants.
Alongside the exhibition floor, the programme carries industry seminars, panel discussions, product showcases, trend presentations and networking sessions focused on innovation, sustainability, sourcing, manufacturing and the direction of the denim market.
Egypt's position explains the choice of venue. The country has built a substantial textile and apparel manufacturing base with established trade links into Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and duty arrangements that make it an attractive nearshoring option for European brands rebalancing their sourcing away from longer supply lines in Asia. That makes Cairo a practical meeting point for buyers who want to inspect capacity and for mills seeking orders from outside the region.
The slot places the event early in the sourcing calendar for the following autumn and winter season, which is when denim buying decisions for the year are typically settled.
