The fourth edition of the Forbes Middle East Resilience for a Sustainable Future Summit will be held at ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi on 19 and 20 October 2026. The event runs under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and is also known as the Sustainability Leaders Summit.

The programme brings together ministers, regulators, chief sustainability officers and the chief executives of energy, utilities, real estate and industrial companies to discuss decarbonisation plans, climate finance and the reporting obligations now attached to sustainability claims. Sessions in earlier editions covered renewable energy investment, water and food security, sustainable finance and the circular economy.

For boards and executive teams the summit is relevant because sustainability commitments are increasingly tied to access to capital and to procurement decisions by government entities in the UAE. It also sits inside a busy October in Abu Dhabi, alongside the Abu Dhabi Future Health Summit at the same venue and a series of ADNEC Group events in the run up to ADIPEC in November.

Forbes Middle East publishes the agenda, speaker list and registration details on its events site. The summit is held annually in Abu Dhabi and typically closes with a recognition of regional sustainability leaders.
