The 28th China Hi-Tech Fair takes place at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center from 26 to 28 November 2026. Organised by the Shenzhen Municipal Government with national ministries and delivered by Zhenwei International, the fair is China's largest and most established technology exhibition and the annual showcase for the city that hosts many of the country's leading hardware, telecoms and electronics companies.
The fair covers artificial intelligence, semiconductors, robotics, the low altitude economy of drones and air taxis, commercial space, new energy, advanced materials, biotechnology and the digital economy. It combines a large exhibition with technology forums, investment matching and a start up and university research section, and attracts national and provincial government delegations as well as foreign trade missions.
Shenzhen is home to Huawei, Tencent, BYD, DJI and many of the component and contract manufacturers that supply the global electronics industry, and the fair is where the city's industrial policy priorities and its companies' newest products are presented together. Foreign participation is organised through country pavilions and delegations.
For executives, the fair is a reading of the technology areas that Chinese central and municipal government intend to support and of the pace of commercialisation in fields such as humanoid robotics and low altitude aviation, where Shenzhen companies have moved quickly. Chief technology officers, heads of strategy and procurement leaders at electronics, automotive, telecoms and industrial companies use it to assess Chinese suppliers and competitors, and Gulf investors and technology buyers with China partnerships have attended recent editions.
