bauma CHINA 2026 takes place in Shanghai from 23 to 27 November 2026 under a one show, two venues format. The Shanghai New International Expo Centre hosts the exhibition from 24 to 27 November, and the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition and Convention Center from 23 to 26 November. The event is organised by Messe Muenchen Shanghai and is the Asian edition of the bauma construction machinery fair held in Munich.
bauma CHINA is Asia's largest trade fair for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines and construction vehicles. The organiser expects more than 4,000 exhibitors across some 400,000 square metres, with the major Chinese manufacturers, including the groups that now rank among the largest in the world, exhibiting alongside European, Japanese, Korean and American equipment makers and component suppliers.
The 2026 edition comes as Chinese construction equipment manufacturers expand exports to the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Latin America, and as electrification, automation and remote operation reshape the product range across the industry. The show is where those export ranges are presented to international buyers and dealers.
For executives in construction, mining, equipment distribution and rental, and the financiers of heavy equipment, bauma CHINA is the principal venue for assessing Chinese manufacturers' technology and pricing and for meeting their leadership. Gulf contractors and dealers, who have increased purchases of Chinese equipment for the region's giga projects, are a significant buyer group.
