Brian Moynihan

Brian T. Moynihan is the Chair of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of America, leading a team of more than 210,000 employees. He has served as Chief Executive Officer since January 2010 and as Chair of the Board since October 2014. Under his direction, Bank of America continues to be recognized as a leader in financial services, with the company named one of TIME Magazine's World's Best Companies in 2025.

Moynihan earned a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University in 1981 as a history concentrator and member of the rugby team, and went on to earn his law degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is the chancellor of the Corporation of Brown University. Moynihan serves as a member of the advisory council for the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture and participates in the World Economic Forum's International Business Council Stakeholder Capitalism Metrics Initiative (chair), the Financial Services Forum, the Bank Policy Institute, and the Business Roundtable.
